Creamy Artichoke Dip

Since it is Super Bowl Sunday it just felt fitting to have a little appetizer before the big TV event.
My kids love the Super Bowl because it is the one day a year that we eat in front of the TV (small pleasures!). We are not big football fans but we enjoy the commercials and the halftime show. And this year one of our favorite artists Katy Perry is the halftime draw, so we are excited! This is an easy and delicious classic appetizer for any party. My kids devoured it!

Ingredients:
1 (8-ounce) 1/3 less fat, block cream cheese, softened
2 cups mayonnaise (Regular or light)
1 (14 ounce) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
2 green onions, sliced thin.
1 garlic clove, minced
1 dash hot sauce
1 dash Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
1 cup grated mozzarella

Preparation:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, with a handheld mixer (or use a stand mixer) until smooth.
Add mayo and beat until smooth. Add remaining ingredients, except Mozzarella, and stir together with a spatula until combined. Transfer dip to a gratin dish and top with Mozzarella. Bake 30-35 minutes until the top is golden brown and the dip is bubbling. Best served warm with crackers, pita chips or toasted bread and assorted vegetables. Yum!
