Chocolate Covered Almond Clusters With Sea Salt

These 3 ingredient treats are my go to when I need something chocolatey.
Made with whole plain almonds and dark chocolate I will claim that they are healthy! Both fiber and protein here! One cluster is usually all I need to feel satisfied and get my chocolate cravings under control. I highly recommend toasting the almonds for ultimate flavor. Any chocolate can be used, milk chocolate, or as dark as you like. Even white chocolate would work here. Vary the sprinkles as well. I love sea salt on chocolate, but coconut flakes or candy sprinkles work too! These make a great edible gift, nicely wrapped in a decorative bag or box. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
250 grams whole almonds
200 grams chocolate of your choice, melted
Sea salt, to taste

Preparation:
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Spread almonds out on a parchment covered baking sheet. Toast until flavorful, 8-10 minutes. Remove and let cool. Meanwhile, melt chocolate in a medium bowl set on top of a small pot of simmering water. Make sure bowl does not touch the water! When chocolate is melted add almonds and fold in until completely covered in chocolate. Using two spoons place small or medium  mounds back onto parchment covered baking sheet. Sprinkle with flaked sea salt and cool in refrigerator at least 30 minutes. Store clusters in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Makes 12-16 clusters depending on size
